The Scout Association North has had a full-time Education Officer since summer 2024.
Our Education Officer is Makeba Kahl (pronounced she/her). She has a degree in Early Childhood Education and is also a former PBN Den Leader. She therefore has the expertise to provide professional advice and support to the association and is also familiar with the structures of PBN and youth association work.
The Education Officer’s role is to support and work closely with the Board (BuLei) and to support the crews, representatives and youth group leaders in all matters relating to education, training, violence prevention and intervention.
This is a completely new situation for the Confederation and new structures of responsibility need to be found. Here on the website we will keep the information up to date in order to create transparency for all interested and active parties.
